Food Packaging

One of the most common market sectors for flexible packaging is the food industry. Our portfolio’s major application is in bakery items, candies/confectioneries,  and snacks. BOPET is mainly used as the printing layer in multilayer structures, CPP/MCPP is mostly used as a barrier sealing layer, and BOPP is used as carton overwraps and printing layer.

Healthcare & Hygiene

The use of flexible films in healthcare and hygiene includes personal care, surgical and hospital sets, and medical products. Medical equipment from syringes to sophisticated dosing mechanisms all require protective flexible bags or foil packs that use sterilization and pasteurization processed BOPET films.

Household

Our films portfolio provides packaging solutions for a wide variety of household product packaging including applications like pillow packs, pouches, standup pouches, wraps and sachets.

Miscellaneous

Astro Films provides flexible packaging solutions for various other applications such as non-food wraps, cable insulation film, bag-making for shirts and various items, and decorative wrap films including holographic impressions.
